The Engineering Technology Research Center should be able to quickly and reliably provide production technology for the products required by the market to the production department, while also guiding the development of the industry. The development direction of pharmaceutical intermediates focuses on the synthesis of heterocyclic compounds, fluorinated compounds, chiral compounds, and biological compounds.
Heterocyclic compounds are widely used in pharmaceutical intermediates, most of which are parent compounds (nuclei). Currently widely used in the clinical treatment of hypertension, such as Kosoa (losartan potassium tablets) and Clozapine (amlodipine), are heterocyclic compounds.
Introducing new elements for modification in pharmaceutical intermediates, the most successful one should be fluorine. Fluorinated compounds in intermediates of both pharmaceuticals and pesticides are considered a key focus. These are all related to the special structure and special functions of fluorine atoms.
